This page is a guide to how my reviews are written. I split them up into a few sections.

Themes: Discusses what the lyrics basically focus on.

Energy: Mellow or upbeat or both?

The Polish: Explains if the album has a rougher or more polished sound.

Growth: How the album sounds compared to previous albums.

Similar Artists: Other musicians that play music similar to the album reviewed.

Personal Rating: I try to evaluate albums more objectively than subjectively, but I like to include how much I enjoyed the album. If you read enough of my reviews, you’ll start to pick up on whether our tastes are similar or not.
